Mr. Chairman, Honourable Deputy Minister for Local Government, Honourable Members of Parliament, Very Rev. Fr. Eric Awortwi- Dadson, the Vicar General of the Catholic Diocese of Sekondi-Takoradi, Honourable Metropolitan Chief Executive, Regional Director of Education, Heads of Institutions, Board of Governors ,Congregation of Holy Cross, Rev. Fathers, Brothers and Sisters, Invited Ministers of Religion, Old Saints, Honoured Patrons, Members of staff, students, Ladies and Gentlemen, all protocol observed, It is my singular honour to welcome you all once again to St. John’s on the occasion of our third Founders’ Day celebration.  Please join me in offering a sacrifice of thanks to Our Father in Heaven for his magnanimity this far.  He is indeed the pillar of strength to us.
